Preschool Service

Limerick Social Service Pre-school works to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for children aged from 3 to 4 years old.

It encourages all aspects of each child’s development (physical, intellectual, linguistic, emotional and social) through play and meaningful interaction.

The Pre-school works with the primary carers/educators of children – their parents – to ensure that the children enjoy their childhood and are encouraged to develop to their full potential.

The Limerick Social Service Centre Pre-school provides a play-based curriculum. Play is a central part of every child’s life, as it provides the critical experiences from which they learn.

Qualified staff provide a warm, friendly environment that is conducive to play and learning.

In order to gain the most from their play, children should be dressed in suitable, comfortable clothing (e.g. tracksuit, etc.)

Lunch/snack is provided.
